Projects of graduate architects of NSUACE (Sibstrin) awarded at the International Competition in Kazan

Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering summed up the results of the XXXI International Review-competition of final qualifying works in architecture, design and art. This is the most prestigious forum of architectural schools in Russia and CIS states. This year, 58 universities took part in it and 719 works were presented, which were evaluated by 19 expert commissions.

Interregional Public Organization for the Promotion of Architectural Education (IPOPAE) held a review competition. The Federal educational and methodological association in the system of higher education in the enlarged group of specialties and areas of training «Architecture» also took part with the support of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences, the Russian Academy of Arts, the International Association of Unions of Architects, the International Union of Designers, the Union of Architects of Russia, the Union of Designers of Russia, the Union of Artists of Russia, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, Administration of the City of Kazan, Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, etc.

Architectural School of Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Sibstrin) has been participating in the best projects competitions for more than 15 years. Over the years, the projects of our graduates have been awarded diplomas and prizes by the founders, the Union of Architects of Russia and other organizations. This year is no exception.

Alexey Gudkov, Director of the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning, Evgenia Ketova, Head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Environment Reconstruction (AUER), and Yulia Nizhegorodtseva, Senior Teacher of the AUER Department, represented the university at the review competition in Kazan.

The competition commission highly appreciated the presented works of architects-graduates of the NSUACE (Sibstrin) and awarded them with diplomas. The diploma of the Ist degree IPOPAE is the most prestigious award of the competition. It was received by such graduation projects as: Daria Vladimirova «Airport complex in Sevastopol» (head: Senior Lecturer of the AUER Department Andrey Moroz), Nadezhda Komarova «Educational Center for Inclusive Technologies in Novosibirsk» (head: Senior Lecturer of the AUER Department Ksenia Kuzmina), Elizaveta Mazilova «Multifunctional scientific and Environmental center with air purification system in Novosibirsk» (head: Senior Teacher the AUER Department Natalia Borovikova), Daria Protsenko and Alyona Evstratova «Belokurikha-2 Resort and Wellness Complex, Altai Krai» (head: Senior Lecturer of the AUER Department Antonina Krutukhina), Maria Sedelnikova «Multifunctional transport interchange hub «Molodezhnaya» in Novosibirsk» (head: Professor of the AUER Department Arkady Mordvov), Maria Zaitseva «School of Project creativity in Novosibirsk. Modernization» (head: Senior Lecturer of the AUER Department Antonina Krutukhina), Ekaterina Vershinina «Spatial organization of modern small and medium-sized air terminals» (head: Head of the Department of Architectural Design of Buildings and Structures (ADBS), Senior Lecturer Sergey Litvinov).

Diplomas of the II degree were received to the final qualifying works of Anastasia Esaulova «Palliative Care Center in Novosibirsk» (head: Senior Lecturer of the AUER Department Ksenia Kuzmina), Polina Bezverkhoy «Wine complex in the Krasnodar Territory» (head: Senior Teacher of the ADBS Department Elena Eshakina), Alexandra Shkredova «Typological features of the architectural formation of modern library buildings» (head: Head of the ADBS Department, Senior Lecturer Sergey Litvinov).

Moreover, Ekaterina Vershinina's work «Spatial organization of modern small and medium-sized air terminals» (head: Head of the Department of Architectural Design of Buildings and Structures (ADBS), Senior Lecturer Sergey Litvinov) was awarded a diploma of the Union of Moscow Architects, and Daria Protsenko and Alyona Evstratova's project «Belokurikha-2 Resort and Wellness Complex, Altai Krai» (head: Senior Lecturer of the AUER Department Antonina Krutukhina) was awarded a diploma of the Moskow architectural Institute.

The presentation of well-deserved diplomas to students and their heads took place on November 7, 2022 in the events hall of the University as part of the closing ceremony of the Festival of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning in Sibstrin.
