 The results of the intra-university competition of English translators have been summed up On May 11, 2023, the Department of Foreign Languages of NSUASE (Sibstrin) held a traditional intra-university competition of translators from English for 1st year undergraduate students. The competition was attended by students of all fields of institutes and faculties. The purpose of the competition is to motivate students to study foreign languages as a means of international communication, acquiring language competencies for their further application in their professional activities. The contestants were offered the authentic text "Engineering Skills Can Build a Better Society" for translation. Students had to translate the text without distorting the meaning, trying to avoid grammatical and stylistic mistakes. It was possible to use traditional English-Russian dictionaries in book format. |
On March 23, 2023, a meeting of the section "Domestic and Foreign Practices in the Field of Architecture and Civil Engineering" was held within the framework of the 80th anniversary student Scientific and Technical conference of NSUACE (Sibstrin) / Domestic and foreign practices in the field of architecture and construction" in English. The section was organized by the team of the Institute of International Affairs of NSUACE (Sibstrin).
The section was attended by students, undergraduates, postgraduates and teachers of NSUACE (Sibstrin), the International University of Innovative Technologies (Kyrgyz Republic) and the International Educational Corporation (Republic of Kazakhstan). 11 speakers made presentations on essential topics in English.

 EEF students – participants of the All-Russian Ecological Dictation On November 24, 2022, students of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering took part in the Ecodictant - 2022 at the site of NSUACE (Sibstrin). Ecodictant is an annual eco–oriented project aimed at improving the level of environmental literacy of various segments of the population. This project is organized with the support of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. Eco dictation takes place annually in two formats: online on the ЭКОДИКТАНТ.РУС portal and on the offline sites. This year, NSUACE (Sibstrin) became a full-fledged offline dictation platform for the first time. Organizers of the event: UNESCO International Chair "Environmentally Safe Technologies of Environmental Management and Water Use", Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Student eco-club "Kodama". |
On February 28, 2023, an extended seminar with the participation of Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Novosibirsk Region Yuri Marchenko was held in the laboratory of the UNESCO Department of NSUACE (Sibstrin) "Environmentally safe technologies of environmental management and water use".
The meeting with the Deputy Minister was attended by students and undergraduates of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering, studying in the areas of "Environmental Management and water use" and "Hydraulic Engineering", undergraduates of the UNESCO Department of NSUACE (Sibstrin), representatives of the student eco-club "Kodama", graduate students and teachers of the Department of Hydraulic Engineering, Safety and Ecology.

 The director of the Beijing Educational Technology Company visited NSUACE (Sibstrin) On March 2, 2023, Zhang Rui, Director of the Beijing Educational Technology Company Mingyang Weilai (China), paid a working visit to NSUASE (Sibstrin). Yevgeny Sagaidak, Head of the NSU Education Export Department, Director of the Novosibirsk Interuniversity Center for International Education, also participated in the meeting. The purpose of the visit was the educational cooperation of NSUACE (Sibstrin) with universities and colleges in China. During the visit, the rector of NSUACE (Sibstrin) Yuri Skolubovich, Director of the Institute of International Affairs Natalia Sineeva and Director of the Center for Work with Foreign Students Viktor Melnik met with the guests. |
On November 11, 2022, the anniversary online events of the consortium «One belt, one way» (BRAUIC), of which Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Sibstrin) is a participant, took place.
Rector of NSUACE (Sibstrin) Yuri Skolubovich took part in the celebration of the fifth anniversary of the BRAUIC Consortium and the Forum dedicated to higher education in the field of architecture (BRAUIC 5th Anniversary Commemorative Celebration & Forum on Higher Education in Architecture). The participants of the events discussed the achievements of the consortium over the past five years, the plan for further development and key moments of promoting high-quality architectural education.

Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering summed up the results of the XXXI International Review-competition of final qualifying works in architecture, design and art. This is the most prestigious forum of architectural schools in Russia and CIS states. This year, 58 universities took part in it and 719 works were presented, which were evaluated by 19 expert commissions.
Interregional Public Organization for the Promotion of Architectural Education (IPOPAE) held a review competition. The Federal educational and methodological association in the system of higher education in the enlarged group of specialties and areas of training «Architecture» also took part with the support of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences, the Russian Academy of Arts, the International Association of Unions of Architects, the International Union of Designers, the Union of Architects of Russia, the Union of Designers of Russia, the Union of Artists of Russia, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, Administration of the City of Kazan, Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, etc.

 The International Youth School «ECOPOLIS» ended at the NSUACE (Sibstrin) The International Youth School «ECOPOLIS» ended on October 21, 2022. «Rosmolodezh. Grants» became the winner. The project brought together about 200 students and teachers (in online and offline formats) from educational organizations in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Omsk, Novokuznetsk, Krasnoyarsk, Ufa, Yakutsk, Vladivostok and other cities, also the expert community of Russia, Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Serbia and Turkey. 40 participants (students and experts) worked at the NSUACE (Sibstrin) venue. They were representatives of such cities as Novosibirsk, Moscow, Omsk, Orenburg, Novokuznetsk, Krasnoyarsk (all – Russia), Mogilev (Republic of Belarus), Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), Belgrade (Serbia), Konya (Turkey). |
